Slicing Frozen Liver

How to turn a frozen liver into small meal-sized portions which are easy to cook quickly:

1. Let the frozen liver sit outside of the freezer for about 30 minutes to soften slightly (a little longer is OK if necessary to be able to safely cut the liver in the next step)

2. slice the liver into meal-sized portions with a thickness of about 3/8″ so that it can cook very quickly directly from being frozen

3. Place the slices of liver in a freezer bag and store in the freezer.
